is there a plane specifically for the existance of dreams? i would personally believe so.

back when i first began lucid dreams, i had crude control over them. they would do some of what i commanded, but never all. in one such lucid dream, something unexpected happened and shocked me right out of the dream. I was still asleep, but still dreaming. i was no longer in a dream, but i was dreaming. around me was the fabric of what i believe to be the dream plane.

the dream plane is different from the astral and ethral planes. first of all, the dream plane has no objects in it. also, you can actually see the very fabric that makes up this plane. my first time in the dream plane, dreams were being stored in orbs that appeared to be almost like holes in the fabric. i didnt stay in the plane for to long, as my amazement soon awoke me. the second time i entered the dream plane, thoughts and ideas were floating around, appearing randomly. a dream would flash before me occasionally. the fabric was far more noticable.

this drastic difference in both of my visits to the dream plane makes me believe that, just like dreams, the plane itself is unstable and chaotic. the plane may be constantly subject to change. it makes me wonder what could be possible if i learn to stablize the dream plane. what would my dreams be turned into? perhaps they would be like everyday, ordinary life.

anyone else experience the dream plane? thoughts, comments, etc would be most appreciated.

The enveloping fabric sounds very similar to:

his description of the fabric is frighteningly accurate. And his theory explains the unstable nature of dreamscape as well.

I've come to the realization lately that what we call "Dreams", "Lucid Dreams" and "Astral Projections" are all one in the same experience... they happen in the same "area of consciousness".  The only thing that differentiates them from one another is how consciously aware you are *DURING* the experience.

So yes, in my opinion, there is a "dream plane"... it's what most people refer to as "The Astral".

I believe they call it the mental plane. I don't know though, could be confused.

What if you can just Hop into those orbs and possibly visit others dreams? I recall hearing of this before.

i believe that to be completely possible. if i came from such an orb in that one dream, then i should be able to do the opposite.
